18 months of engineering. Countless test flights. One result: the world's fastest drone.
After a year and a half of design, testing, and refinement, the Drone Pro Hub team has officially broken the unofficial world speed record for drones. Our custom-built speed drone hit a verified top speed of 605 km/h (376 mph) and achieved a scientifically measured average speed of 585.5 km/h (364 mph) across both directions—beating the previous record of 580 km/h.
How We Did It the Right Way
Most "world record" drone speed runs show one fast pass and call it done. We did it properly.
Here's our methodology:
Four total runs: Two in each direction
Best two runs selected: One from each direction
Averaged for final result: 585.5 km/h verified average
GPS telemetry verified: All data captured onboard and cross-referenced
This is how official speed records are measured—and it's the only legitimate way to account for wind conditions and environmental factors.
Top Speed: 605 km/h (376 mph)
World Record Average: 585.5 km/h (364 mph)
Previous Record: 580 km/h

The Engineering Behind the Record
This drone wasn't built overnight. Led by engineer and FPV specialist Ben Biggs, the build took 18 months of iterative design, component testing, and aerodynamic tuning.
Key technical highlights:
Custom aerodynamic frame optimized for minimal drag
High-performance ESCs capable of sustained extreme speeds
GPS telemetry system for verified speed measurement
Extensive ground and flight testing across multiple conditions
Every component was selected and tested for one purpose: pure speed with verified results.
What's Next
This is just the beginning. We're already planning our next evolution of the speed drone, with targets well beyond 600 km/h. We'll be documenting the entire process—from engineering breakdowns to test flights—on our YouTube channel and here at Drone Pro Hub.

We'll be sharing behind-the-scenes engineering insights, technical breakdowns, and everything we learn along the way as we continue pushing the limits of what's possible in drone performance.
